This transmitter scene is game quality was done as an art test for Flix Interactive where I currently work and as such I had a specific brief to follow. I have then spent a bit of extra time polishing it up with some nicer lighting and some fog particles etc. I originally only had around 2 weeks to work on it and I worked very hard to show my skills, I'm still super thankful that I got the Job. The transmitter was made in Maya and Substance Painter and Photoshop. The ground was made in substance designer and zbrush was used to create the organic looking slightly alien foliage. The whole scene is 28,110 triangles not counting the displacement subdivisions on the ground and the sky sphere.
